Dear Backers,
We are writing to let you know about the status of the project. During the last few weeks, we refined some details about the pen. We made a double start to the cap threads to reduce the number of turns to uncap it. You can now open and close the pen with 1.5 turns. We also improved the tolerances of every part of the pen. A couple of days ago we received the final samples and mass production has started. It will only take 20 days for the pen bodies to be ready. Unfortunately, we won't receive the nibs until the week of November 18. Our German supplier is backordered and although we placed the order as soon as the campaign ended they can't deliver sooner. We understand that waiting another full month to receive your pens is a bummer but there is really nothing we can do to speed up the process. As soon as we receive the nibs we will commence shipping and expect to have all pens shipped by December 13. This will give us two weeks for delivery if you were planning to gift the pen(s) during the holidays.

Dear Backers,
We would like to inform you that we just sent the survey where you will be able to select your desired pens and options. Soon you will receive an email from BACKERKIT, please respond to it at your earliest convenience. A prompt response from the majority of backers by September 10 is crucial for the project's timeline. We need to know the number of parts to order from our suppliers and commence manufacturing as soon as possible.
We will send periodic updates to keep you posted about our progress. We would also take this opportunity to thank all of you for your amazing support.

Dear Backers,
We are thrilled with the campaign results and would like to thank all of you for supporting this project. Your involvement is deeply appreciated and we will make sure to produce an excellent pen for you to enjoy.
Now that the funding period is over, we need to wait 2 weeks to receive the final backer list from Kickstarter. As of today, we have 51 backers that need to update or change their credit cards as they failed when processing. If you have received an email from Kickstarter stating this problem, please make sure to get it sorted out during the next 5 days as there is a 7-day window to solve these issues before backers are dropped.
Once we get the final head count, we will send a survey via Backerkit where you will be able to select your desired pen material and nib sizes. We will make another update as soon as surveys are sent out.

Dear Backers,
Thank you very much for supporting this project, we are ecstatic with the success of the campaign. We are making good progress on the project as we have setup manufacturing timelines and booked materials with our suppliers.
We believe that many more pen enthusiasts would love this pen but we have very limited resources to reach them. We would like to ask for your help in spreading the word about it. If you know someone that might be interested in the pen, please point them in the right direction. It would also be very helpful if you could share the image and link below in your social media. Word of mouth on Instagram and Facebook is the best way to help us.
