Dear Backers,
We hope you are doing well. The last packages were shipped at the end of January. If you have not received your pen, please contact your local postal service and provide them your tracking number- some parcels might be delayed by customs or misplaced within their system. If you have any other questions please send us a PM as we are not monitoring the campaign website as closely.
On the other hand, we would like to let you know that we have just launched version 2.0 of our XS pocket fountain pen. During the last months, we have re-engineered our compact minimalist pen with adjusted dimensions, improved gaskets, and new material finish. After several new prototypes, we are very enthusiastic about the matte titanium that we are offering. The previous aluminum pens are slightly underweight and we wanted to offer a more durable and robust product. We have selected grade 5 titanium which offers an excellent combination of high strength and toughness.
The XS TITANIUM is one of the smallest fountain pens in the market- ideal for everyday carry without compromising comfort and writing experience. Although very compact when closed, it transforms into a regular-sized pen when posted. The fast-opening and fast-closing actions rely on high-performance gaskets (entirely new) specifically designed and manufactured for this pen. All pens will include a detachable polished stainless steel clip.
The XS TITANIUM is an exclusive Kickstarter product that we will not offer outside this platform. Machining this twelve-sided pen in titanium is very time consuming and wears out the CNC machines very rapidly. For this reason, we are limiting the production to 500 units.

Shipping Update!

Dear Backers,
Happy New Year!
We wanted to contact you to give you an update on the shipping status. So far, we have shipped 80% of the pens and plan to ship the remaining 20% in a few days. This has taken much longer than anticipated as we decided to tune every single nib to guarantee performance. In the past, there have been complaints about issues with some Bock nibs and we want to avoid bad writing experiences.
On the other hand, we discovered that our remaining stock of ink converters have a gasket problem. Instead of waiting until mid-February for the supplier to send replacements, we thought that we would include 5 black ink cartridges instead of the converter on the remaining 20% of the pens. We hope that you are okay with this. If not, please send us a private message and we will ship your pen in mid-February with the converter. Converters are very inexpensive and readily available worldwide.
We are not shipping pens according to the backer number so you might be one of the first backers and still haven't received your pen. As soon as your package ships, you will receive an email with your tracking number.
The majority of you have already received your pen and so far we have received very good feedback. We hope you enjoy it very much.

Shipping Progress

Dear Backers,
We hope you are enjoying the Holidays. We wanted to give you an update on the shipping progress. So far, we have shipped 310 orders (about 480 pens) or 47.8%. As soon as a package ships, you receive an automatic email with your tracking number. If you have not received this email, it means that we are still preparing your order.
We also want to inform you, that our nib master carefully inspects and adjusts every nib. Because we received the nibs just a few days ago, he has been working non-stop but still needs to adjust about 600 nibs. Unfortunately, it is impossible to ship the remaining packages before Christmas. We will continue adjusting the nibs and sending packages during the next few days but stop for one week between Christmas and New Year's. The remainder of the packages will then be shipped during the first three weeks of January 2020. We understand that this delay could be very frustrating, but we want to make sure that all nibs perform great and it has just been impossible to do it in such a short time since we received the nibs.

Dear Backers,
We wanted to let you know that all pens are ready to receive their nibs. Unfortunately, we have been in communication with our nib supplier and it seems that we will have a couple of extra weeks of delay. This is their response: "We are very sorry but we have a bit delay with your nibs since we had nib machine issues to fix and some ill people. As soon as the package is ready we’ll let you know." We want to be clear about the situation and keep you well informed. Obviously this is not fun for anyone but we really can't do anything to make things faster. We promise to ship all pens in just a couple of days as soon as we get the nibs.
